Frozen little packet of sweetness

Hey all

Have you tried frozen grapes? If you haven't perhaps you can try it. It is a great healthy snack while studying for your exams.

Step 1 : buy a packet of grapes.
Step 2: Wash them... You don't want to be consuming pesticide.
Step3 : Put them in a container... Since the freezer is for frozen meat you won't know what bacteria is in there.
Step 4: Yes you guessed it... Put in freezer
Step 5: indulge...

Its really nice especially if you buy the seedless once. You can chew on it and its kind of crunchy. Alternatively you can let it melt in your mouth. Both ways its delicious.

Ok back to studying.

Cheers

You know you been studying too hard when you make an entire blog post praising the succulent sweetness of...grapes.

However I feel grapes really aren't the fruits we should concert all our adulation to. It's the oft-overlooked, often underestimated, comforting taste of mango. Ever tried mango dipped in a little chilli powder? Thats how us Lankans like our mango. Sink your teeth into the irresistable softness and experience the sudden explosion of flavour dancing in your tastebuds - the sweetness, the spice, everything nice! You will suddenly be transported through time and space, transcending mortal conciousness as everything that was ever wrong with the cosmos falls perfectly into place and you're lost in the surreal peace that comes from sinking your teeth into that one, amazingly tasty mango.

    mmmm....

    ok back to studying

  2. What?! Grapes?! Sounds like an idea, but I'll get some blueberries to try tomorrow. Or cranberries. Haha!

And chilli + mango?!! Wow that's new.

Oh I should mention this: I would pour orange juice (with pulp) into ice cube makers! It's nice and I end up spending more time visiting the fridge than studying. =p

  3. OH yes! orange juice in ice trays. But then I've to wash the ice trays later. And it gets all sticky.

Chilli and mango is kind of new to me too. Ranmali are you talking about ripe mangos or those unripe ones. I've been to thailand once and they had those green sour mangoes which they eat with chilli and black sauce. Quite tasty.

Perhaps I should head down to the fruit stall and get myself some mangoes now. :)

    Study hard

  4. Frozen grapes? Sounds like a good idea.Isn't it like icewine? But I have never tasted icewine before :(

I think it's unripe mango too. Omg, I love the Thai Mango salad. You can find the best Thai mango salad at Bukit Timah.

I have one suggestion too. Dip slices of pineapple into black sauce mixed with red chilli and sugar. Tastes damn good! My mum's recipe. haha

Why are we talking about fruits?
